The independent TOYP Science Jury selected Dr. Demir for his research group’s work on the invention and demonstration of new optoelectronic quantum devices and granted Dr. Demir First Prize in Scientific Leadership. Dr. Demir’s research group is working on the development of novel nanophotonic devices and sensors at Bilkent University’s Nanotechnology Research Center and Advanced Research Laboratory.
